Karate can be practiced as an art, self defense or as a combat sport. It is important to understand that there are varied styles of Karate, these can be narrowed down to the following; Traditional karate places emphasis on self-development. Modern Japanese style training emphasizes the psychological elements incorporated into a proper kokoro (attitude) such as perseverance, fearlessness, virtue, and leadership skills. Sport karate places emphasis on exercise and competition.
Instructors are DBS (previously CRB) checked and cleared, insured and we have First Aid trained personnel on site to make sure your karate experience is fun, interesting and above all safe.
